Caring for young people is not easy, nor is it inexpensive. If you have looked around, you know that many boarding schools for troubled teenagers charge tuition that the average family simply cannot afford. And while it is very costly to operate a school like ours, we share the conviction that our program needs to be available to as many families as possible.
For nearly 40 years, Freedom Academy has been a faith -based ministry, powered by the generosity of our faithful supporters. As a faith ministry, we will make our services available to every good candidate regardless of finances. Rather than charge tuition, we seek a partnership with families who agree to join our supporters by offsetting a portion of their child’s program costs. The level of partnership is different for every family based on their individual financial situation. The only thing that will be required is cooperation with our program and a commitment to sacrificially partner with us to help give your child a second chance.

(In addition to ongoing tuition, there is a $500 admissions fee (only charged if the student is accepted, and it is non-refundable) as well as a travel deposit. This admissions fee is used for initial enrollment costs, such as a physical exam, providing school curriculum, etc. and the travel deposit is held in the event that a child must return home after their stay.
